Young Rob nominated for “Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year” at Ghana Music Awards Europe 2024

The UK-based Ghanaian star has been shortlisted for the music festival’s “Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year” award under its “Best Diaspora” category.

Last year, Young Rob was a force to be reckoned with in the diaspora. The crooner disrupted the news cycle with his debut album “Afro-Lover,” a 13-track spectacle that won fans over with tracks like ‘Brown Skin Girls,’ ‘Mevado (feat. AmuGa Temper),’ and ‘Higher (feat. Bakilla),’ among others.

He looks forward to receiving his flowers this year and is ready to lift the prestigious “Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year” award. Sharing his thoughts with the media, Young Rob said: “I’m thrilled to be recognized for my contribution and excited for the future.” “Music is a universal language that connects us all. This nomination inspires me to continue creating and sharing my music with the world! A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has supported me on this incredible journey. I couldn’t have done any of this without you.”

Indeed, music is a universal language. Earlier this month, Young Rob listed rising Belgian-Zambian rapper CocoDrops for a summer anthem titled ‘Show Me.’ The Hip-Hop track offered a vibrant blend of rap and R&B to create a spellbinding experience for clubbers.
